Lana Light, CFP®, CRPC™

Orlando International Fashion Week Welcomes Lana Light, CFP®, CRPC™ to the Advisory Board!

My favorite part of being a financial advisor is partnering with my clients, who really feel more like family, throughout every stage of life. Whether you are working on preparing for or enjoying a successful retirement, focused on educational saving strategies or addressing needs for insurance or estate considerations – many are working towards several goals at the same time – working closely with you, your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you. From your tolerance for market volatility to your dreams, I want to know what is important to you and your family. One size doesn’t fit all, and I love putting the puzzle together with strategies that are as unique as each client’s situation. Once the strategies are implemented, I’ll partner with you throughout your life, regularly reviewing your goals and comfort with risk, in order to make any necessary adjustments to help keep you on track.

Being a former educator at heart, I believe that knowledge is power. I strive for excellence in the service and advice I provide to my clients, therefore, I am committed to continuously expand my industry knowledge. To be able to advise my clients on a variety of complex financial needs, I have earned the CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) certification and CRPC™ (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™) designation.

What is important to me? Besides spending time with my family, I am passionate about volunteering and giving back to the community. I am on the board of directors of Dr. Phillips Chamber of Commerce, Orlando. I volunteer at different charity organizations and provide educational seminars and classes.

I am also a competitive salsa dancer. I like to challenge myself and to put myself out of the comfort zone. I started dancing salsa only at the age of 35, and five years ago was my first World Salsa Competition. I am a strong advocate that age is just a number and it is never too late to follow your heart, do what is right for you and your family, and plan ahead.

Choosing a financial advisor isn’t a decision to take lightly. I look forward to learning what’s important to you and to be of service to you and your family!
