| My name is Tam Tran, I have been a passionate fashion lover since my youth, and I started my entrepreneurial journey designing and selling plastic flower vases during the Lunar New Year in Vietnam. Despite my mother’s wishes for me to become a lawyer, my love for fashion never waned. I pursued my law degree while working part-time at a souvenir shop and honing my design skills. My true passion for fabrics led me to embrace linen, silk, and cotton, considering their natural qualities ideal for Vietnam’s tropical climate. I intuitively knew these eco-friendly fabrics would become the foundation of my future endeavors. The desire to explore different cultures and lifestyles prompted me to embark on a journey of self-discovery. In 2014, my husband and I relocated to Florida, drawn by its resemblance to my beloved hometown – Nha Trang City in Vietnam. While raising my two sons, I felt a yearning to pursue my true passion. Determined to make my dream come true, I delved into the world of fashion design. Guided by my unwavering love for eco-friendly fabrics, I collaborated with my tailor friend in Vietnam to create linen and cotton garments for the US market. In 2021, I took a leap of faith and rented space in a boutique shop at West Shore Plaza in Tampa, Florida. It was there that I showcased my creations, learning the ins and out of the fashion industry and nurturing my business with sheer dedication and passion. Lotus Linen Design LLC, born in 2022, emerged as a young and vibrant brand rooted in my love for natural fabrics and my commitment to sustainability. The belief that linen, cotton, and silk are gifts from nature, returning to the earth without a trace, inspired I to champion eco-friendly fashion and challenge the prevalence of synthetic materials.
